The Bongarevskaya Wind Farm is located in the Ipatovsky District, Stavropol Krai. It has been feeding electricity into the national power grid since September 1, 2021. This is NovaWind’s third wind farm in the Stavropol Krai.
The farm consists of 48 wind turbines with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. With an installed capacity of 120 MW, it is planned to generate more than 354 million kWh of electricity on the annual average.
As confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, 68% of the wind farm equipment is sourced locally.
The Bongarevskaya Wind Farm uses parts and components fully produced and assembled in Russia.
Wind turbines at the Bondarevskaya Wind Farm are 150 meters high (measured at the rotor's top). Each 49,05-meter blade weighs 8.6 tonnes. Together with a 217-tonne tower and a 49,5-tonne generator, the entire structure weighs about 324 tonnes.
