Atomenergopromsbyt JSC (part of the management company NovaWind JSC) and the Nestle Purina PetCare factory (a branch of Nestlé Russia LLC in the village of Vorsino, Kaluga Region) signed an agreement on the supply of 50 million kWh of electricity generated from wind energy. Since May 2020, the Nestlé Purina PetCare pet food factory has been using renewable energy for all production activities.

We certainly welcome the desire of our socially responsible partner to minimize the impact of the company's production activities on the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring sustainable business development," - said Alexander Korchagin, General Director of NovaWind JSC.
NovaWind JSC is a division of Rosatom that implements the general strategy of the State Corporation for the production of low-carbon types of energy based on nuclear energy and wind energy. Overall, by 2023, enterprises operating under the management of NovaWind JSC, will install 1 GW of wind farms.
Atomenergopromsbyt JSC as an energy sales company of Rosatom, is the supplier of electricity to nuclear power enterprises and a wide range of different electrical energy consumers. Today the Company is operating in 20 regions of the Russian Federation, serving more than 150 various electrical energy companies.
The Nestlé Purina PetCare factory in the Kaluga Region is the largest producer of Purina pet food in Europe. 95% of Purina products on the Russian market are manufactured at the Vorsino factory. The factory's products are exported to 14 countries in Europe and the CIS. At the end of 2019, the total investment in production amounted to 22 billion rubles.
