NovaWind JSC has started construction of the Karmalinovskaya wind farm in Stavropol Krai. The total capacity of the second wind farm under construction in the region will be 60 MW, the planned average annual output is 147 GW / h. 24 wind turbines of 2.5 MW each will be installed at the site. The volume of investments in the creation of a wind farm is more than 8 billion rubles.
More than 50 units of construction equipment, as well as 150 workers and engineering and technical specialists have already been mobilized to implement the project. Work is underway on the installation of bored piles, reinforcement of future foundations of wind turbines, work on the construction of road approaches and crane platforms to the foundations of wind turbines and CTS. There are two concrete plants operating on the site with a total concrete mix capacity of 160 cubic meters per hour.
“We have commenced the construction work at the site of the Karmalinovskaya wind farm. Thanks to the assistance of the Novoaleksandrovsky district administration, it was possible to quickly select the location of the wind turbine. In the future, this will allow land users not only to continue to use these lands for agricultural needs, but also to operate the infrastructure of the wind farm. We, as a generating company, will be able to obtain the maximum utilization rate of the installed capacity of the wind power plant,” - said Alexander Korchagin, General Director of NovaWind JSC.
