NovaWind to Supply Green Power to Sberbank

of wind electricity at deregulated prices. According to the contract, electricity generated at VetroSGC’s wind farms will be supplied to Sberbank offices in Tula, Voronezh and Yaroslavl.
MosEnergoSbyt will purchase green power for Sberbank on the deregulated wholesale energy market under the agreements with generating companies, including VetroSGC, a joint venture of Fortum PJSC and Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), and Hevel Group.
According to the agreements between MosEnergoSbyt and Sberbank for the period until the end of 2021, renewable energy will be supplied to 14 new Sberbank offices in Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Tula, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, and Irkutsk. More than 36 million kWh of electricity is planned to be supplied by the year end.

As of today, NovaWind has commissioned four wind farms generating a total of 540 MW of electricity, with another three sites currently under construction. Two wind farms with a total capacity of 180 MW will be put in operation by the end of 2021.
