NovaWind received half of the investment support in the course of tenders for renewable energy projects

Bids for 6.7 billion rubles filed by WindSGC-2 (part of NovaWind JSC, the wind energy division of Rosatom) were selected following investment project tenders for the construction of renewable generation facilities. Projects under this support program are selected based on a single-rate price taking into account CAPEX, OPEX and profitability.

The total portfolio of NovaWind is now about 1.7 GW, which confirms the company's position as one of the leaders in the wind energy industry in Russia.

The submitted applications relate to projects to be commissioned in 2025–2027 and implemented under RES capacity supply agreements for a period of 15 years.

“We have successfully passed the equator of the first RES CSA program. As of today, Rosatom has put into operation 660 MW of wind generation capacity. The price level of bids proposed by NovaWind in the course of this tender will ensure high stability of the project to fluctuations in external conditions, as well as compliance with the requirements for the export of services and equipment,” said Aleksandr Korchagin, CEO, NovaWind JSC.
