NovaWind appoints new CEO

NovaWind JSC appointed new Chief Executive Officer, Grigoriy Nazarov, with effect from January 20, 2022. He succeeds Aleksandr Korchagin, who accepted a new job with a company within Rosatom.
Grigoriy Nazarov graduated fr om the Faculty of Finance of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. He has a successful experience in international audit and consulting companies, as well as in implementing oil and gas projects. He has been working in Rosatom companies since 2012. Since2017, he has been the head of Atomenergopromsbyt JSC, wh ere he successfully implemented a number of new tools to enhance efficiency of power supply to industrial enterprises, inparticular by using power storage systems and machine learning methods. In NovaWind he has been the head of Development and International Business Division since 2020.
“NovaWind has a strong team of professionals and all the key competencies to implement wind energy projects. Now we are facing ambitious tasks – the construction of wind farms under new RES CSA program and international expansion. I am sure that the current level of technical and organizational training is a good foundation for their successful implementation,” Grigoriy Nazarov commented on his appointment.
