Rosatom Wind Farms Generated over 400,000 MWh in Q2 2022

In Q2 2022, the wind farms owned by NovaWind (Rosatom’s wind power division) reached a quarterly power output of 440,450 MWh. 

This figure includes generation from the company’s six wind farms commissioned in the Republic of Adygea, Stavropol Krai, and Rostov Region with a total capacity of 720 MW.

In the said period all wind farms operated preventing releases of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere in the amount of 154,5 th tons in CO2 equivalent.

In year-on-year terms, the power output has more than doubled from 186,982 MWh in Q2 2021 (then generated only by Adygea, Kochubeevskaya, and Karmalinovskaya Wind Farms).
