Rosatom Wind Farms Produced Over Million MWh of Electricity for Three Quarters of 2022

The wind farms operated by NovaWind generated 373,763 MWh of electric power in the third quarter of 2022, having demonstrated a 1.4-fold increase year-on-year. To compare, production of electricity in the third quarter of 2021 amounted to 265,345 MWh, but it did not include power generation by the Medvezhenskaya Wind Farm. 

With data for Q1 and Q2 included, the total power output reached 1,354,123 MWh for the first three quarters of 2022.

This figure includes electric power generated by six wind farms with a total installed capacity of 720 MW commissioned in the Republic of Adygea, Stavropol Krai, and Rostov Region.

The operation of these wind farms prevented 475,200 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent from being emitted into the atmosphere in the period under discussion.
