15.02.2018

Today, at the Russian Investment Forum held in Sochi, the Administration of the Krasnodar Krai and JSC "VetroSGC", subsidiary of State Corporation Rosatom responsible for the construction and operation of wind farms (WF), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement the investment project “Construction of 200 MW WF” in the territory of Temryuksky and Yeysky Districts of Krasnodar Krai.
The MOU was signed by the Governor of the Krasnodar Krai Mr. Veniamin Kondratiev and Director General of JSC "VetroSGC" Mr. Aleksandr Korchagin. The cumulative investment in the project totals 20.5 billion rubles. WF is scheduled to be commissioned in late 2019.

"The South of Russia is a top-priority region to implement the Rosatom strategy in the wind energy sector. In view of local content in manufacturing of wind turbines in Volgodonsk, Rosatom will create 1,000 new jobs in the region. This is a good start for the development of a new industry and the diversification of the State Corporation business portfolio in the carbonless energy sector", said Alexandr Korchagin.

Today's document is the next step in the development of the Agreement on Cooperation with the Administration of Krasnodar Krai signed in September 2016 also during the forum in Sochi. Wind measurements are already being carried out in the territory of Temryuksky and Yeysky Districts. The investment project business plan has already been approved.

The Administration of Krasnodar Krai within the scope of its competence and according to the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, will assist JSC "VetroSGC" in the project implementation.
