ROSATOM plans to build 400 MW wind farms in Stavropol Krai

Today, at the Russian Investment Forum held in Sochi, the Government of Stavropol Krai and JSC "VetroSGC", subsidiary of State Corporation Rosatom responsible for the construction and operation of wind farms (WF), have signed the Agreement on Cooperation for the construction of a 400 MW capacity wind farm.
The document was signed by the Governor of Stavropol Krai Mr. Vladimir Vladimirov and Director General of JSC "VetroSGC" Mr. Alexandr Korchagin.

The Government of Stavropol Krai within the scope of its competence in the Krai and according to the procedure established by the legislation will assist in the promotion of a favorable business climate to implement renewable energy projects and will consider the possibility of providing fiscal relief and other exemptions for project implementation to develop the fuel and energy complex of Stavropol Krai.

"The Agreement signed today is the declaration of our intentions to build a wind farm in Stavropol Krai. Starting from 2017 we have been actively cooperated with the Government including the Ministry of Economic Development of Stavropol Krai. The Government assists investors in the provision of land plots and construction of necessary infrastructure. I believe that we will announce the development of our projects in Stavropol Krai soon", commented Mr. Aleksandr Korchagin on the Agreement signing.
