Trunovskaya Wind Farm

The Trunovskaya Wind Farm is located in the Trunovsky District, Stavropol Region. The first part with an installed capacity of 60 MW has been feeding electricity into the national power grid since October 1, 2023.

The wind farm includes 24 wind power plants with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. As confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, 68% of the wind farm equipment is sourced locally.

Wind turbines at the Trunovskaya Wind Farm are 150 meters high (measured at the rotor's top). Each 49.05-meter blade weighs 8.6 tonnes. Together with a 217-tonne tower and a 49.5-tonne generator, the entire structure weighs about 324 tonnes.

The second part of the Trunovskaya wind farm will be launched before the end of 2023; it will include 14 wind turbines with a total capacity of 35 MW.

With an installed capacity of 95 MW, the wind farm is estimated to generate 225 million kWh per annum.
